Got a question about the Chamber? Ask one of our great Ambassadors! Our Chamber Ambassador Program is a group of volunteers that help the Chamber Staff with events and are available to help new members and new business learn about the Chamber and the community.

The Chamber Business Advisors Program connects Chamber Members with Chamber Business Advisors who will provide a free business consultation meeting related to their field in our office that can bring you the assistance you need towards reaching your business goals. They help provide you solutions to your small business challenges and needs.

The Leadership Lumpkin Class of 2026 Application process will occur from June 1st to July 15th. A committee from the Chamber Board will review the applications and select the class. Applicants will be notified by July 31st whether they have been accepted or not. The application will be available on the Chamber website (www.DLCchamber.org). Class size is limited to 30 students, in the past few years we have received more than 30 applicants and unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate everyone that applies. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the information brief on May 28th at 5PM at the Chamber. It is not required that you attend. You can register here: https://members.dlcchamber.org/events/details/2025-leadership-lumpkin-county-class-information-brief-for-llc-class-of-2025-81139 The class consists of a Welcome Dinner, nine class days that are typically the 1st Thursday of every month from September to May, and the Graduation Dinner. Students are also required to complete 30 volunteer hours and attend three local government meetings. Class days typically range from 8AM to 5PM, the class day times do fluctuate based on location and subject of the classes. Students can miss two class days and are reminded that there is no make-up available.
