Carolina Express was formed by brothers Jonah and Grayson Riddle. Jonah is 17, and Grayson is 12. Growing up in the mountains of western North Carolina, Jonah has been playing the banjo for 4 and ½ years. From the first time he picked up the instrument, he fell in love. He started out playing at church three times a week. Because he enjoys bluegrass and gospel music so much, he decided to start his own band – Jonah Riddle & Carolina Express. Jonah’s brother, Grayson, plays guitar and does vocals. He has been playing guitar for almost 2 years. From the time he was only 5 years old, he would pick the guitar at church services. Jonah and Grayson credit the Lord for their playing and singing talent. Whether you are a creative writer facing a block or an academic writer learning to navigate academia, Michelle will help you find a writing path uniquely suited to your needs. This retreat is indispensable for those who want to write a lot while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance.'' --Assistant Professor, Comprehensive University ''Call me mad, but I travelled half way around the world to participate in this writing retreat, and it was so worth it. Prior to the retreat my writing process had become an ugly thing, messy, disorganized, and ultimately unproductive. Now, though, I have acquired new habits and put an end to the activities that had been holding me back. I would strongly recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to become less anxious, better organised, and more productive.'' --Anthony Patterson, Professor of Marketing, University of Liverpool ''This holistic model really freed me up to be intentional and productive in my work.'' --Fay Rosner, Assistant Professor of Instruction, Northwestern University ... read more

Georgia grown singer songwriter, Sarah Peacock, swings the pendulum across the spectrum of what's considered to be today's country music; bridging gaps between modern country, alternative country, folk, americana, and even classic rock. You'll find a truthful rawness in her music and real life themes of faith, overcoming struggle, and un-acquitted love that will leave you oddly feeling closer to home. And, most certainly you're sure to find a piece of your own story threading throughout the fabric of her songs. Peacock has released 6 albums and has toured over 200 dates a year since 2005. Peacock was recently signed to Nashville label, American Roots Records. Her first EP under the new label, Beauty In The Ashes, Unplugged Vol. 1 released May 12, 2017.
