A monthly social and professional networking opportunity for women who live or work in Lumpkin County. It is designed to encourage the growth and development of leadership skills as women from all walks of life are empowered to achieve and to dream.
Negotiating a salary or asking for a raise can trigger anxiety in an employee as well as an employer. This is not something most people feel comfortable doing. Yet, the ability to negotiate is a skill that is valuable to many employers. The way you ask will set the tone in the personal and working relationship with your employer. This presentation will provide tips on how to navigate the salary negotiation process in a constructive way that will strengthen the relationship between you and your employer.
W.I.L.L. is a program of the Dahlonega Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce and meets the second Wednesday of each month at United Community Bank (community room), from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., 206 Morrison Moore Parkway. Cost is just $5 for members and $10 for non-members. From 8:00 to 8:30 is meet, greet and eat time. Program begins at 8:30. All women who live or work in Lumpkin County are welcomed.
