No other woman in the history of Dahlonega has played such an important role in helping to preserve our city's rich history than Madeleine K. Anthony. Many of our local landmarks and public buildings owe their origins to Madeleine's efforts. From Lumpkin County's first Chamber of Commerce to our annual Gold Rush Days festival, Madeleine played a key role in getting both started.
Local historian Chris Worick will recount many of Madeliene's achievements and personal accounts about her life as Dahlonega's undisputed ambassador.
A light, breakfast will be provided at 8 am with the program starting at 8:30 am.
Presentation & Breakfast Fee:
$5 Members / $10 Non-members.
Annual Membership Dues: $10/year (membership is not required to attend)
