Travel Rally Day

Join us on Tuesday, May 3 for Dahlonega and Lumpkin County’s Travel Rally Day – to take place on the Visitors Center Plaza.

Dahlonega is a tourism town and next week we – along with the entire nation -- celebrate and commemorate the value of tourism to our cities and towns across the country.
 
Dahlonega and Lumpkin County will pay a special tribute to the tourism industry and thank our customers -- our visitors -- and especially thank our lodging, attractions, restaurants, wineries, historic venues, retail shops and gold-related partners, who make our city and county the enormously appealing destination it is – by “rallying” and expressing our thanks for all you all do.

P.S. -- Please try to wear red -- the official color of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry -- we'd love to see a sea of red on our Visitors Center Plaza!
