As a little girl Lauren kicked off her career singing at a church.Through the years she found her voice and evolved into an extraordinary woman of blues. She is now fronting her band 'The Lauren Mitchell Band' and has performed in numerous concert halls, venues, historic honky tonks, and festivals. She's put together a stellar blues group led by Hammond B3 

aficionado, "The Professor" Michael Hensley, and is proud of the fact that she 

spends a lot of time "in a van, with a bunch of seasoned veteran players,
