According to the Chicago Tribune "Hull's musical path recalls the artistic trajectory of crossover star Krauss, another child prodigy who branched out beyond bluegrass to great acclaim." Sierra signed with Rounder Records at age 13, and is the first bluegrass musician to ever receive a Presidential Scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In January, she released her first album in five years, 'Weighted Mind', produced by 15-time Grammy Winner, Bela Fleck. Young Sierra is best known for her prodigy style mandolin playing, which first brought her to share stages with such icons as Sam Bush and Alison Krauss.
