The Crimson Moon: MATTHEW HOYLE ("Y'all-Ternative" Blues & Folk)

Matthew Hoyle hails from Cleveland, GA and specializes in "Y'all-Ternative" Blues, an eclectic mix of folk, blues, and pop. He grew up listening to his father and uncle play traditional bluegrass, from where he picked up the phenomenal 'flat-picking skills that he interjects now and then into both his 'Ya'll-Ternative' originals as well as his own twist on his favorite 'old and new'covers. Though Matthew is new to the stage of The Crimson Moon, Matthew has been writing original music and lyrics for over 10 years now, and his lifetime of playing music and being raised by music makers make him a natural that is sure to start climbing the ladder of the music world.
