The Crimson Moon: APRIL ROOKS & Friends CD Release Party

April Cummings-Rooks is a singer, songwriter, performer and author. She has been the opening act for artists such as Shawn Mullins and other Nashville songwriters Teddy Gentry, Rhett Akins, and Buddy Buie of Atlanta Rhythm Section. April begin leading worship and singing at local churches at 15 and later studied Music Education while in college. During college, April began blending her love of poetry and written word with music. She recorded her debut album, Just A Little Country In 2005 and it was nominated for #1 Album of the year by Atlantacountrymusic.com. In 2018 April founded Amped Kids Foundation, providing foster children with free music education programs in Georgia.  This concert will be a celebration of her latest CD  Sojourner!
