The Crimson Moon: ANNI PIPER (Award Winning Lady of Blues)

Hailed as the ‘First Lady of the Blues’ in her homeland, Anni Piper won Best New Talent at the 2005 Australian Blues Music Awards for her debut CD. Possessing a voice that, as one reviewer put it, ‘lulls men to their doom’, she is also an accomplished songwriter and bass guitarist. Knowing early on that her passion was the blues, she picked up the bass at age 14 and completed a B.S in Contemporary Music at 19 years of age. Piper spent years touring Australia with her trio until her sultry vocals received international acclaim. Now she is recording her 5th studio album ft. her touring band, Dave Kury-guitar and Frank Hetzler-drums.
