Spirit Night at Steak and Shake for the Lumpkin 4-H BB team

What an accomplishment for our newly formed 4-h BB team!  Our team made up of three girls and three boys pictured above along with Coach William Warren, are thrilled at the opportunity to attend the prestigious Daisy Nationals held in Rogers Arkansas July 1st through the 4th.  After completing a season of  tournaments and fun shoots, they qualified as one of only 15 teams from Georgia to attend the National Championship.  We are so proud of our youth for demonstrating their hard work and perseverance.  

While they are very honored to attend this momentous event, it is an expensive endeavor. The team will be holding several fundraisers to help offset the cost of this trip.  If you would like to help the team in any way they are receiving donations at the Lumpkin County 4-h extension office located behind the Holly theatre annex.  They will also be holding a “spirit” night at the Dahlonega Steak and Shake on Thursday May 12th from 4p.m. -8p.m. if you are unable to donate to the extension office.  The team will receive a percentage of the proceeds.
