Re-Align and Restore Yoga Retreat with Narin

Enjoy a relaxing weekend of yoga and celebrate the new moon and the transition from summer to fall September 11-13, 2015, at the Dahlonega Spa Resort. This weekend retreat will include yoga, meditation, all meals, and accommodation from Friday evening (9/11) until Sunday afternoon (9/13)

The retreat schedule includes five yoga sessions (including two restorative/therapeutic evening classes, a deep stretching morning class, and two yoga workshops), hiking, meditation, and time for relaxation, visiting nearby attractions, and checking out spa treatments at the resort. 

Pricing begins at $429 for double occupancy-$656 for single occupancy (all inclusive for the full weekend). Accommodation choices include private cabins and the Main Bed and Breakfast Inn.

About Narin:

Narin has been practicing yoga for over twenty years and teaching since 2004. Her practice and training encompasses a range of styles, including Iyengar, Kripalu, Vinyasa, and most recently, Purna yoga, a tradition that she practices and teaches consistently in now. Narin has taught yoga in several venues in Atlanta and currently teaches at two studios: All Life is Yoga and Yoga Samadhi. Narin’s classes focus upon posture and alignment detail while combining a sense of fluid breath and movement. In all her classes she tries to create a balance between poses that are challenging and restorative and class experiences that are reflective and playful. In her classes and workshops, Narin builds a supportive and calming environment that can rejuvenate and energize students. She emphasizes the role of yoga as a complete holistic method that includes the study of nutrition, meditation, and pranayama. Narin incorporates her practice and teaching of yoga with a career as a college professor. She teaches literary and cultural studies at Georgia Tech, and one of her current research projects involves researching the cultural and historical roots of yoga in its migration to the West.
