Getting to the CORE of Your Practice!
PURVIDISE YOGA RETREAT
September 15 – 17, 2017
Are you ready to explore the CORE of your practice? We’ll delve into the ‘core’ of the body (including the mysterious psoas muscles) and poses, and the ‘core’ of the practices of the yogic journey. We’ll help you build a home routine and talk about the yogic principles that are the building blocks designed to help you experience your best life. Moving and living from your CORE will help you find your center on and off of the mat.
Included in your weekend experience will be multiple classes daily (yoga, pilates, meditation - seated and moving) and workshops, leaving you feeling balanced and strong!!
There will be scheduled ‘time out’ to explore the 70+ acres of this beautiful property, walk the labyrinth, get a massage, enjoy the beauty and delicious wine at the 7 local wineries or shopping in the quaint town of Dahlonega. Maybe you try one of the spa treatments (massage, body wraps, body scrubs, hot stone) at the resort! (available for an extra fee). Bring your spouse, significant other, best friends, co-workers, male friends, teen/adult children, etc. This retreat is for all levels of experience on and off the mat!
Your instructors are Carolyn Purvis, Owner of Purvidise Yoga and Abbey Brewer, Owner of Embrace Yoga with 25+ years of combined teaching experience. Carolyn is a 500 hr registered yoga teacher, registered yoga therapist and Essential Oil enthusiast who loves using humor and education to make yoga accessible for everyone. Abbey is an E-RYT 500, anatomy teacher to yoga teachers, pilates instructor, licensed massage therapist, and certified herbalist. She uses all of her skills to create an inviting, creative class. Both teachers are anatomy/therapy based and strive to educate students about maintaining their body at an optimal level.
