Joshua H. Viau, a national expert in labor and employment law, will share insights on the use of e-mail and social media in the workplace, including their use in hiring, promotion, and firing decisions. Drafting and implementing legal and effective social media policies are among some of the tips he will share that can save companies time and money down the road.
Viau is a partner at Elarbee Thompson, a labor and employment law firm in Atlanta. He has over 10 years’ experience representing employers in employment related lawsuits, compliance issues, employment counseling and training, and labor relations. He is a frequent lecturer and presenter on best practices in labor and employment-related topics.
