North Georgia Chamber Symphony Holiday Concert
Saturday, December 5th, 7:30, Dahlonega United Methodist Church
We’ll begin our concert with Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Serenade for Strings. Rick Harris, a Dahlonega favorite, will join us on trumpet and percussion for some Old Fashioned jazz numbers, and will also play with us on The Hollow Men, a hauntingly beautiful Concerto for Trumpet and Strings. We’ll play Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, several other popular Holiday pieces, and we will all Sing-Along to some Christmas Carols, concluding with Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride.
