Moonlight & Magnolias

NGCSU's Student Theatre Guild presents ''Moonlight and Magnolias'' 7:30 pm February 28-March 3, 2007, and 2:30 pm March 4 in Hoag Student Center Auditorium. Admission is free. The play is an adult comedy with mature humor and situations, so children under 13 will not be allowed in the theatre unless accompanied by an adult. Ever wonder how ''Gone With the Wind'' got made. Well, now, here is your chance. Based on actual events, Ron Hutchinson's 2004 comedy smash gives us a hilarious look into the writing of ''Gone With the Wind.'' Join producer David O' Selznick (NGCSU senior Sean Stephens), screenwriter Ben Hecht (freshman Kris Conklin), director Victor Fleming (NGCSU student Sam d'Entremont) and secretary Miss Poppinghul (freshman Shelley Backstrom) as they fight over and hash out the greatest American epic of all time. And remember, If Butterfly McQueen knew nothin' about birthin' no babies, what makes you think these people do.
