Lifesouth Blood Drive

Calling all community heroes! The Lumpkin County Library is proud to partner with Lifesouth to bring even more blood drives to our community. Lifesouth will be holding a blood drive in the library parking lot in their bloodmobile on Tuesday, May 26 from 10:30 - 4:30 p.m. To make an appointment, visit  https://donors.lifesouth.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/897886. Before you donate, make sure you drink plenty of caffeine-free fluids like water or juice, eat a good meal or snacks, don’t smoke for one hour before or after donating, and get a good night’s rest. Please bring a photo ID with you the day of the blood drive. And, since you’ll be at the library, why don’t you take the time to explore what we have to offer? From books to DVDs to audiobooks, there is something for everyone. You can even check out a cake pan or ukulele from the library! If you don’t have a library card yet, this is a perfect time to sign up for one! We hope to see you soon.
