Knitting - Felted Bag Part 1: Getting Started We will start the main body of a 100% wool bag that we will felt. The bag is approximately 8? wide by 7? high after felting and has a carrying strap. Continue knitting the body of the bag at home. Part 2: Flapping Learn to pick up stitches and make a flap. Also learn how to make an I cord for the handle. Complete instructions will be given for felting the bag in your washing machine. Notes: 1.) Students must know how to knit and purl. 2.)
