Jim Hurst Trio (2x IBMA Guitar Player of the Year!)

Jim Hurst twice received IBMA’s Guitar Player of the Year Award, for his combination style of finger-style and flat-pick on guitar. He's nominated again this year, and tours nationally, both solo show and leading the ‘JHT’, with acclaimed bassist, Erik Alvar who's performed with many of Tennessee’s busy touring artists including the Roys and Rebecca Frazier & Hit and Run. Highly respected 2015 IBMA Momentum Performance Award winner, Nate Lee, plays fiddle and mandolin, so the instrumentation of this trio is both premier and unique.
