This musical journey will reflect on main styles in the Americas and how it influenced music in the U.S. as well as how some musical expressions in the U.S. transformed and enriched Latin music. It will cover Salsa and Latin Jazz as expressions that had and still has important participation of the U.S. and its creation and transformation (influence of the immigration of Cubans, Puerto Ricans and other Hispanic groups since the XIX century.) The workshop will invite audience to participate in producing different sounds and rhythms and dance.
