The Ambassador Program is an outreach and retention program for Chamber members with a built-in opportunity to provide public relations exposure for the Ambassadors and the businesses they represent. The Ambassadors are a group of professional volunteers from varied backgrounds who, while representing their business, act as a liaison between the Chamber and its members.
Ambassadors assist in membership retention and work to improve member’s relations by making contact with new and existing Chamber members. They assist members in obtaining the maximum value from their Chamber investment. Ambassadors help to increase member’s knowledge of the Chamber and keep the channels of communication open between the Chamber and its members.
The Ambassador volunteers make solid and long-lasting business contacts through participation in the Ambassador program. There are also many benefits to a firm willing to “lend” their employee to the Chamber to serve as an Ambassador.
