7th Annual ConnectAbility 5k/10k Run/Walk

FAMILY FRIENDLY INCLUSIVE 5K/10K RACE:
The 7^th Annual ConnectAbility 5k/10k on Saturday, September 9^th promises inspiration and fun times for all!

Looking to run a certified 5k or 10k (Peachtree Qualifier)? Thinking of running your first 5k race? Love to walk for health? Are you a seasoned runner looking for an inspirational and fun race with a beautiful course? Or, are you looking for a great cause to support? ConnectAbility has the event for you! 

Join us on Saturday, September 9th in downtown Dahlonega for the 7th Annual ConnectAbility 5k/10k race through the historic square and alongside Lake Zwerner. Run, walk, or roll your way on a gorgeous, well-organized course through the mountains and historic district in Dahlonega! After the race, be sure to check out the Dahlonega Farmers Market and the Dahlonega Trail Fest, also taking place downtown! The event raises money for ConnectAbility, an organization committed to encouraging, enriching, empowering and equipping children and adults with disabilities, their families, care providers and the communities in which they live.

In spirit with this organization, everyone will be a winner in this race, so everyone will get a high quality engraved FINISHER’S MEDAL!  In addition, there will be special awards for Age Bracket Winners and the Overall Winners will win HANDMADE POTTERY WINNERS’ CUPS made special for this race by Brad Walker Pottery.
