National Small Business Week
Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America?s entrepreneurs and small business owners. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. We encourage each of your to support our small businesses and show your appreciation.

The Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and the Dahlonega Woman's Club are co-hosting a Candidates Forum Friday, May 13, 2016. The forum will be held at Lumpkin County Parks and Recreation, 365 Riley Road, Dahlonega. The Candidates Forum will start promptly at 5:30 PM and end at 8:00 PM.

The Ambassadors are a group of professional volunteers from varied backgrounds who, while representing their business, act as a liaison between the Chamber and its members. The Ambassadors meet the last Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm in the Chamber conference room.
