Chamber Annual Banquet
On behalf of the Dahlonega-Lumpkin Chamber Board of Directors you are invited to celebrate the success of 2016! The Annual Banquet is one of the most popular networking events of the year, bringing together a cross-section of Chamber Members, business leaders, elected officials, and community stakeholders. This is a great night for networking and enjoying some social time together. Dinner starts at 6:20 PM followed by a brief program before we begin our auction and dancing to the music of DJ Tommy Pirone at 7:30 PM.

A monthly leadership development opportunity for women who live or work in Lumpkin County. It is designed to encourage the growth and development of leadership skills as women from all walks of life are empowered to achieve and to dream.
Ribbon Cutting for Outback Guide Service
Join us for a Ribbon Cutting celebrating Outback Guide Service, your private guide service to Day Hikes and Photography in the North Georgia Mountains. Based in Dahlonega, Ga, Outback Guide Service will work to find what you want to see and will point out things you never even thought to look for. Each tour is like having your own personal ranger to show you the mountains and their secrets that are often right out in the open but few ever notice.

Ambassador Meeting
The Ambassador Program is an outreach and retention program for Chamber members with a built-in opportunity to provide public relations exposure for the Ambassadors and the businesses they represent. The Ambassadors are a group of professional volunteers from varied backgrounds who, while representing their business, act as a liaison between the Chamber and its members. The Ambassadors meet the last Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm in the Chamber conference room.

Dahlonega-Lumpkin Newcomers Luncheon
Please join us at Achasta Country Club for the Dahlonega-Lumpkin Newcomers Luncheon to be held on Monday, March 6, from 11:30am - 1:30pm, featuring presenter Pat Blair, Chief White House Calligrapher! Pat Blair is currently serving as the Chief Calligrapher at the White House in Washington, D.C. The calligraphers are responsible for menu and invitation design for official and social presidential events, inscribing the guest book for visiting heads of state, certificate and resolution design as well as production of programs and tour books. She served two years as the President of the Washington Calligrapher?s Guild in Washington, DC., was the chairperson of the Graceful Envelope contest sponsored by the US Postal Service, and served as co-director for the International Lettering Conference, Letterforum. Her work has been published in the Calligrapher?s Engagement Calendar, Letter Arts Review, and Tabellae Insatae, and Martha Stewart Weddings. She teaches at the Loudoun Academy of the Arts, and has been on the faculty of eight International Calligraphy Conferences. Pat?s love of pointed pen lettering led her to her study of Copperplate and Spencerian letterforms. Her workshops emphasize the grace and elegance that these letterforms can achieve by paying close attention to the beauty of the form. She has been awarded the title Master Penman by the International Assoc of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting for her work in this area.
