DESCRIPTION:The Yahoola Outdoors Grape Stomp is a challenging 5k and 10k trail run and 1 mile Fun Run at Montaluce Winery. Enjoy a run through the vineyards\, the surrounding forests\, and along the scenic Etowah River. The run is a fund-raiser to benefit the Dahlonega Trail Fest and is sponsored by Yahoola Outdoors and Monteluce Winery and Restaurant.\n\n\n\nThe event will also feature a mini Trail Festival\, with information booths\, music\, and more!\n\n\n\nRegistration begins at 7:30 am.\n\n\n\nStart times: 10k- 9:00 am\; 5k- 9:30 am\; 1 mile fun run- 11:00 am. All courses will close at noon.\n\n\n\nCourse is through the Montaluce vineyards\, surrounding forests\, and along the Etowah River.\n\n\n\nT shirts guaranteed to registrations by midnight of Sunday\, March 26. T shirts only as they last after that.\n\n\n\nFollow the signs when entering Montaluce to the parking area. Staging area is at the Montaluce Swimming Pool.\n\n\n\nRemember\, the 10k and the 5k are trail runs. Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for trail running.\n\n\n\nAwards for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd overall male and female. First place -19\; 20-29\; 30-39\; 40-49\; 50-59\; 60-.\n\n\n\nBefore and after\, enjoy live music\, informational booths\, arts & crafts and outdoor recreation vendors that will be set up at the start/finish line. Racers and non racers alike are welcomed and encouraged to arrive early and stay after the race to visit the booths\, visit with each other and taste some fantastic North Georgia Wine.
