SUMMARY:A Little Night(hawk) Music Concert Series with Dr. Serena Scibelli\, violin
DESCRIPTION:The A Little Night(hawk) Concert series returns for the 2020-2021 concert season on Monday\, October 5 at 7:30 PM with a program presented by UNG faculty member\, Dr. Serena Scibelli. On this program\, entitled "Reflections\," Dr. Scibelli will present a series of old and new compositions written for solo violin. The music on this program was an essential part of her quarantine during the pandemic and helped her to stay connected with composers and her instrument. These selections served as a way for her to reflect about her feelings and the need to stay artistically active in such unique time. The program will feature the premiere five new compositions and will culminate with the release of her solo album at the end of 2020. A link to Dr. Scibelli's ALNM performance may be found on the events calendar of the UNG Music Department Website and we encourage you to pre-register your attendance for the event.\n\n\n\n"Reflection: serious and careful thought\, something that shows\, expresses\, or is a result of something. But also\, the image of something in a mirror or on any reflective surface\, the return of light\, heat\, sound\, or energy."
