What does "Taste\n\nthe Difference" mean? The members of the GAFWA are the only\n\nassociation in Georgia dedicated to the true meaning of the word\n\nTERROIR. The definition of Terroir is\; the characteristic taste and\n\nflavor imparted to a wine by the environment in which it is produced.\n\nOur members believe this can only be achieved by producing wines from\n\n100% Georgia Farmed Grapes. The Alliance also believes that wines\n\nlabeled with a Georgia Appellation should also be made with 100%\n\nGeorgia Farmed Grapes and any wine containing grapes from outside the\n\nstate\, be labeled as American Wine.
