In business since 1982, Townely Construction, Inc. started as a handyman repair service. In 1991 we began Townley Sweeping, Inc. which provides commercial parking lot cleaning, and in January of this year 2004, we started Townley Portable Toilets, Inc. which provides portable toilets for construction sites and special events.
We are a complete plumbing company. We do residential and commercial plumbing repair. Anything from installing water heaters to repairing kitchen faucets.
We are the general contractor for Etowah Water and Sewer Authority here in Dawson County. We are also the general contractor for Lumpkin County Water and Sewer Authority in Lumpkin County.
We are a husband and wife team. Our nephew Chuck came to work for us in 1983 and is still working with us today. We have a total of 21 employees at this time and 2 part time employees. We have been blessed with a great group of employees. They are our extended family.
We are corporate sponsors of the following organizations: American Red Cross, Dawson Arts Council, and the Relay for Life. We help with the Etowah Water River Clean Up and also with the Star Bright Foundation - which is now The Care For Kids of Dawson County. We received Business Leaders of the Year 2003 from the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce.
We try to support and patronize businesses within the county and we also support local civic groups. For example: the Dawson County Senior Citizens and Lions Club, the Dawson County Volunteer Fire Department. We are proud of the youth of our county.
