His earlier band\, Cowboy\, whom he co-founded with Scott Boyer\, toured extensively with Gregg Allman\, which produced the widely acclaimed "Gregg Allman Tour with Special Guest Cowboy" album. \n\nOne of the best songwriters and guitarists of our time\, Talton is best known for his smokin? slide guitar licks\, distinct vocals and prolific songwriting with the Cowboy band\, as well as his memorable guitar work on Gregg Allman?s "Laid Back" album. However\, the music he has written in the past fifteen years has gone virtually unheard until the recent release of Tommy Talton in Europe\, Someone Else?s Shoes\, the highly anticipated new CD on Hittin? the Note Records\, and supporting live performances with the Tommy Talton Band.  Expect to hear music written by Talton in recent years\, as well as a few of your favorite ?Cowboy? tunes\, at this very intimate performance tonight at The Crimson Moon Café!
