DESCRIPTION:The UNG Big Band Show promises something for everyone. From swing classics by Duke Ellington and Count Basie to Monk\, Kenton\, and funk by Jaco Pastorius. The show will feature the jazz bands from both Dahlonega and Gainesville Campuses. The concert will take place on Thursday\, February 28 in the Shott Auditorium on the Dahlonega campus and then again on Friday\, March 1 in the Ed Cabell Theater on the Gainesville campus. Both concerts begin at 7:30 pm. Admission is free.
