DESCRIPTION:The University of North Georgia presents Piano Extravaganza concert on Friday March 9th\, 7:30pm. The concert will feather 40 fingers on a piano. Dr. Joanna Kim\, director of keyboard studies will be joined by 3 pianists around the states: Dr. Sergio Gallo and Dr. Vicente Della Tonia   both natives from Brazil and teach at Georgia State University\, Dr. Zeynep Ucbasaran   concert pianist from Istanbul\, Turkey. The program ranges from Classic duet\, opera & ballet transcription\, funeral march of Marie Antoinette (the beheaded queen of France) and the grand gallop of horses. It will be an exciting concert with 40 fingers prancing around on the keys. This concert is sponsored by UNG music department. The concert starts at 7:30 PM in Shott Auditorium\, which is located in the Nix building on the UNG campus in Dahlonega. Admission is free.
