SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn Workshop: "Busting Nutrition Myths"
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for a Lunch and Learn workshop\, "Busting Nutrition Myths" presented by Susan Warren. Susan is a certified health coach and a graduate from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Susan uses a holistic approach to life balance\, but her specialty is nutrition education. \n\n\n\nNutrition can certainly be a confusing subject\, but today there's more research being done than ever before. Recommendations have changed dramatically in the last 20 years. Much of the average American's nutritional knowledge is old and outdated.\n\n\n\nCome to the Lunch and Learn August 25th sponsored by "A Dish of Good Health". Susan will discuss the latest research on consuming fat. Does eating fat make us fat? Do we really need to drink all that water? Is salt bad for us? Is all sugar the same? What about artificial sweeteners? Isn't moderation the key? In addition to vital nutritional information\, Susan will provide handouts\, lunch and simple recipes that anyone can follow. \n\n \n\n(Lunch and food samples will be provided by "A Dish of Good Health")
