DESCRIPTION:On October 9th and 15th\, UNG guitar professor Dr. Philip Snyder will performConcierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo with pianist Vivian Doublestein.  TheConcierto de Aranjuez is one of the most popular classical guitar pieces of all time.  Its middle movement is instantly recognizable\, and has crossed over from the classical music world into the pop culture idiom due to countless cover versions by artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Miles Davis.  Fans of Spanish guitar music will certainly not want to miss a chance to hear this piece performed live.\n\n \n\nThe October 9th performance will take place in Shott Auditorium on the UNG Dahlonega campus at 7:30 pm\, and the October 15th performance will take place in the Ed Cabell Theater Lobby on the UNG Gainesville campus at 7:30 pm.  All performances are free to the public.
