DESCRIPTION:A night of family fun and entertainment at five in-town venues and on the Square as we ring in the New Year in Dahlonega!  The Golden Nugget drops at midnight!  Shows featuring regional and local talent will entertain hourly at the Holly Theatre\, Dahlonega Baptist Church\, Dalonega United Methodist Church\, St. Luke's Catholic Church\, Hancock Park\, and on the Square.  \n\n\n\nAll profits from First Night Dahlonega are support for Jeremiah's Place\, Lumpkin County's only transitional housing for the homeless.  Open since December 2015\, this privately-funded effort has helped over 28 families transition from homelessness to having a place of their own to live.
