DESCRIPTION:GFWC GEORGIA  DAY OF SERVICE\n\nState-wide Collection of Personal Care Items for Domestic Violence Victims\n\n Dahlonega\, GA   On Saturday\, April 28th thousands of members of the General Federation of Women's Clubs in Georgia will be out in their local communities collecting personal care items for local domestic violence shelters and raising awareness of our national signature project:  Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. \n\nGFWC Dahlonega Woman's Club members will be outside of the Walmart\, located at 270 Walmart Way in Dahlonega\, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm greeting the general public\, sharing information about local resources for victims and collecting personal care items for victims of all ages such as:  diapers\, shampoo\, body wash\, deodorant\, hair brushes\, paper towels\, trash bags\, feminine hygiene products\, shavers\, toothbrushes\, toothpaste\, etc.  All donations from this event will be given to the local NOA Shelter.
