DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Lumpkin County Library will be hosting the next speaker in the series\, "Authors in the Afternoon" (late afternoon of 6pm!).\n\n\n\nThis is a free series of presentations by local authors who will be on hand at the library to talk about their writing. The author gives a presentation followed by a Q & A session. Books may also be signed or purchased from the author as well. Please join us for the next event in this series\, on Thursday\, October 10\, at 6:00 p.m.\n\n \n\nMatt Aiken will be our guest for the October event. Matt is the Executive Editor of the Dahlonega Nugget and co-host of the Nuggetcast podcast. He has written a hilarious and intriguing new book\, \n\n"School of Sleuths."\n\nLight refreshments will be available.\n\n\n\nThe public is also invited to attend the quarterly meeting of the Friends of the Lumpkin County Library at 4:30pm.
