DESCRIPTION:This training is intended to educate the public on firearms safety\, firearms fundamentals\, individual situational awareness\, and firearms laws as it pertains to Georgia. This training will further allow the citizen to utilize the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office Firing Range on the first and last Tuesday of each month\, excluding holidays.\n\nNote 1: All classes begin at 6:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM at the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office.\n\nNote 2: Please contact Ms. Judy Parker for registration\, 706-482-2628.\n\nNote 3: Those attendees who wish to utilize the Firing Range must submit to a Criminal History Check.\n\nNote 4: No Firearms or ammunition is authorized for the classroom session.
